RUABON

Ruabon is a village with a rich and ancient history, dating back to the Bronze Age and the Iron Age

Ruabon is located 6 miles south of Wrexham, the village has a long history and its main features are the local Iron Age hill fort, the remains of Offa’s dyke and Watkins dyke, along with the Parish Church.

The name of Ruabon is known far and wide as it gave its name to Ruabon brick, a distinctive shiny, durable red brick, seen everywhere in buildings within the Wrexham area and beyond.
